FCW Insider: An EPA-IBM agreement
We are working this story, but the talk of the week -- IBM being prohibited for government work -- has been resolved, at least for now. Washington Technology has the story.
We heard rumors that there was some kind of agreement last night.
This seems like a good step for everybody because the more that the IBM situation lingered, it was bad news for everybody -- the government, industry. (OK, it was a good story for the press, but...)
There are still lingering questions like what is this case actually about, but... it seems like better judgment has prevailed on all sides. This allows a process to work rather then just throwing one of the biggest IT vendors out altogether.
More on this developing story. We're working.
