Hacker targets FEMA phone system
A hacker broke into the Federal Emergency Management Agency's voice mail system last weekend, making more than 400 calls totaling nearly $12,000, according to the Associated Press.
A hacker used the Federal Emergency Management Agency's voice mail system to make more than 400 calls to the Middle East and Asia last weekend, ."In this case it's sort of embarrassing that it happened to FEMA themselves — FEMA being a child of [the Homeland Security Department], with calls going to the Middle East," said one security consultant quoted in the AP story.
