The laboratory has issued a request for information to find out what industry can provide. That includes finding workers with scarce skills and ensuring the lab’s requirements are passed down to vendors. Contractors must describe the type of project managers and other staff members who would be assigned to the laboratory’s program. They must also describe what Vendor Management System software would be used, including its architecture and capabilities and its ability to interface with Oracle and other laboratory software. Laboratory officials are also interested in learning about what experience contractors have with software modifications.
