Letter: 'Drop a dime on crime' not very different
A reader writes to say the GSA's online form to submit possible criminal activity by a contractor is not much than what happens now.
Regarding "GSA to contractors: Drop a dime on crime"
Well I guess that one way to destroy a federal contractor's chance of getting business.
Normally
after a contractor "drops a dime," the inspector general informs the
government of the disgruntled contractor and then tells the contractor
that they do not have the authority to discipline or make any changes.
Then as a fix, the contractor is summarily dismissed at the first
convenient opportunity.
Well that's how it worked with smaller federal contractors in the past. What has changed?
