Warren has shown a knack for finding ways to get complex systems in separate law enforcement agencies to share information.

Warren been an essential agent in some of the department's larger data-sharing initiatives, including Sentinel, Next Generation Identification and the Law Enforcement National Data Exchange. Warren led the development of an internal tool that could move data from existing systems. He is now looking at ways that the National Information Exchange Model, managed by the Justice and Homeland Security departments, can be used to help Justice agencies screen more cargo entering the country.

"Warren's leadership abilities … will allow new systems to be built significantly faster and at lower cost levels," said Vance Hitch, Justice's chief information officer.
