The intelligence community's research outfit, the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), wants to hear from companies that can do work on its Top Secret Athena program, which focuses on Computer Network Operations.

Since Athena is classified Top Secret, it's hard to divine its goals, but a Google search yields the fact that Athena was the Greek goddess of war and wisdom, and maybe IARPA is seeking ways to apply wisdom to operations in cyberspace.

At the moment, there is no federal Standard Industrial Classification code for wisdom, but it may be an idea whose time has come for the entire government -- not just the intelligence community.
