Yep, Computers for Offensive Ops

The Defense Department shies away from talking about its plans for using cyberattacks against enemies, but a solicitation released by the Air Force Electronic Systems Center yesterday indicates that the service definitely plans to have the capability to attack adversaries using computers.

The center says it wants to develop a Cyber Integration Environment for the Cyber Command HQ and other information operational outfits in the San Antonio area. That would include acquisition, integration and sustainment for Air Force computer network defense and computer network attack capabilities.

I hope the Air Force, if it decides to launch a computer attack, does not knock out my audio stream of BBC Radio 3, because there are no classical music radio stations within range of Whats Central in Las Vegas, N.M.
