Federal 100: Dominic Sale
Dominic Sale
Policy Analyst
Office of Management and Budget
Sale led the successful development of several high-priority systems last year, and he did it in record time.
First, Sale directed the testing and deployment of the initial version of Recovery.gov. His efforts resulted in the Web site going live the day President Barack Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act into law. Sale also helped develop the IT Dashboard in 60 days to give the public more insight into federal information technology spending, and he has been spearheading development of the latest version of USAspending.gov, which will make the site easier to use.
“All of [Sale's] projects were successfully completed in short time frames under tremendous pressure and external scrutiny,” said Michael Howell, OMB's deputy administrator of e-government and information technology.
