Cofoni is leading CACI into a new era by keeping the government contractor focused on serving its customers, even as he devotes considerable time to several charities.

In addition to his role at CACI, Cofoni is chairman of the board at AFCEA International, and he helps the organization foster relationships among the military, government, industry and academia.

“Mr. Cofoni has also made a deep commitment to providing career opportunities for veterans through his implementation of CACI’s Deploying Talent-Creating Careers initiative to hire disabled veterans,” said Olga Grkavac, executive vice president of the Public Sector Group at TechAmerica.

Cofoni's dedication to encouraging his employees to adopt healthy habits has led to a number of companywide initiatives, which in turn prompted the American Heart Association to name CACI a Fit-Friendly company. In addition, he recently served as area chairman of the 2009 Start! Heart Walk, an annual AHA fundraiser. Under Cofoni's leadership, CACI raised more than $154,000 to become the largest company contributor to the event, in which more than 1,000 CACI employees participated.
