Shouldn't they be working on all the other things they are so far behind on? There are important tapes of real historical significance that will be lost forever, instead of tweets. It is significant that of all problematic VA IT projects, LMS remains the only stone left unturned. I agree that a learning system that delivers effective and relevant training is essential to the 21st Century Initiative underway in VHA. However, delivery of content and tracking of content are independent functions. LMS may adequately support VA education tracknig. However, VA LMS does nt adequately deliver the array of instructional content in such a large, diverse, organization as VHA. Read more from VA IT Employee

Maybe this will pay off long term, but it just seems like a lot of eyewash. For all the press the VA's Program Management Accountability System has received, look at the net result. Almost all programs have restarted and only one is really on hold. The SBA came to the startling conclusion it could just use the standard issue GSA cards. Give me a break. When will this government learn to share. USDA has an education system that has 1,000's of classes and has one person that runs the system. Why doesn't VA use the back bone of this system. From Federal

On Adobe: Apple Bad for Open Government

This is just plain silly. Adobe is upset because Apple is protecting the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad ecosystem from contamination by it's buggy piece of obsolete bloatware. Read more from James T
