Recruiting Federal Service Ambassadors

The Partnership for Public Service is recruiting federal interns to serve as ambassadors of federal service on college and university campuses. Those chosen to participate in the program will participate in events, networking sessions and meetings with key faculty and staff members, all with the goal of raising awareness of the opportunities and benefits of federal service, the Partnership announced Tuesday.

Those chosen to participate in the program will participate in events, networking sessions and meetings with key faculty and staff members, all with the goal of raising awareness of the opportunities and benefits of federal service, the Partnership announced Tuesday.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must participate in an internship with a federal agency in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2010 and be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university for the 2010-2011 academic year. Participants will receive a stipend for their service and support from the Partnership. The application deadline is Friday, June 11.
