Never too late to learn
There’s a certain comfort in going to work and knowing that you can sit at your desk and handle anything that comes your way. That you have the knowledge and experience to get the job done. That you could do your job with your eyes shut.

Some people like routine and don’t mind being on autopilot. But we have seen a good many comments in this blog in which folks—people in various stages of their careers—have expressed the desire to get more training/education/certifications.
That got us to thinking about motives. Some people want to move up and manage. Some people don’t want the added responsibility of management, but want to acquire skills that will enhance their performance.
