GSA starts social media directory
The General Services Administration joins a trend by listing all its social media links on a single Web page.
The General Services Administration has started an online social media directory Web page, with more than a dozen links to GSA-sponsored Facebook, Twitter, Real Simple Syndication and other platforms, GSA announced today.
GSA joined the Defense Department and several agencies that have put all their social media links on a single Web page for easy navigation and access.
“The new page represents a consolidation of GSA’s ever-expanding social media presence, which is supporting openness and transparency,” said Greg Romano, acting director of public affairs for the GSA. “The goal was to bring all the links together in one place.”
The GSA Social Media Directory is being maintained by the GSA’s communications office and will be updated regularly by that office, he added.
