The New House VA Committee Chair Is....

As expected, Rep. Jeff Miller, R-Fla., will head the committee once the new Congress convenes next year. I also hear that Rep. Bob Filner, D-Calif., the current chairman, has no opposition for the top Democratic spot on the panel.

I expect an official announcement on Miller and his chairmanship later today.
