The Partnership for Public Service, a major booster of public service, today opened up nominations for its 10th annual Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals.
The group will be giving out nine medals to feds in different categories, including one for Federal Employee of the Year. All career feds are eligible, and anyone can nominate one from now through Jan 31 at servicetoamericamedals.org, which also lists other details on the awards.
Before you stop reading, please note: The awards come with cash prizes ranging from $3,000 to $10,000.
That’s 10 grand.
