All Chairs Filled at Defense CIO Shop

Last Friday I reported that I had a tip that Teresa Takai, the Defense Department's chief information officer, had decided to name Rear Admiral Janice Hamby as her deputy CIO.
This was one of those right church, wrong pew tips -- Hamby, former vice director for command, control, communications and computers at the Joint Staff is now Takai's chief of staff -- or, officially: Military Deputy and Acting Chief of Staff in support of both the CIO and the Deputy CIO.
Rob Carey remains the deputy CIO.
