Today's Maddening Google Doodle

Google put up an animated Doodle today to honor choreographer Martha Graham, and while I applaud the sentiment, the execution is flawed.

Every time I popped up Google today, the Doodle animation started and sucked all the horsepower out of my machine, rendering it close to useless.

The end result: I used Yahoo for searches today, probably not what Google expected or wants.

Am I the only one on the good Google earth who experienced this problem?
