The Barack Obama administration will miss the deadline for filing a budget request for the third time in four years, according to reports.
The Washington Times reported Jan. 23 that the president’s budget is now expected Feb. 13, a week later than it is due. The first Monday in February is the deadline set by law.
Obama also filed the budget late in 2009 and 2011, but made it on time for the 2010 request, according to the report.
