Hackers say they took down CIA site
Hackers said they took down the CIA website on Friday, Mashable reported.
Mashable said the hacker's group Anonymous claimed responsibility for taking down the site, which did seem to be out of order.
"CIA TANGO DOWN: cia.gov," reads a tweet from an Anonymous-affiliated account. The group is only loosely affiliated but uses well known Twitter accounts to communicate. Anonymous has also claimed to have attacked Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and the Church of Scientology, as well as security firms and various government websites.
