The updated complaint in the TRICARE class action lawsuit I wrote about in our news pages today cites a What's blog post I wrote last month about SAIC winning an extension to its TRICARE contract, despite the fact the company lost track of computer tapes containing the health care records for 4.9 million TRICARE beneficiaries.
It's safe to say that my hourly rate pales in comparison to that charged by attorneys in the three (yep, three) law firms that filed the amended complaint. If nothing else, the TRICARE lawsuits amount to a full employment act for platoons of lawyers for years to come.
