VA Seeks PTSD Service Dogs
Yeah, this is supposed to be a technology column, but it's also good to keep track of our furry friends, especially a combo of dogs and veterans.
The Veterans Affairs Department plans to start a pilot program in the Tampa, Fla.-area to use service dogs to help treat veterans with post traumatic stress disorder. The agency now is looking for an outfit to provide the dogs.
Note: These must be really well behaved Fidos -- no barking, growling and or other aggressive behavior -- criteria that, if applied to humans, would eliminate most members of Congress.
