A Line to 24,000 Vet Jobs

VA holds biggest ever jobs fair.
The Veterans Affairs Department will hold its largest ever hiring fair at the Detroit convention center next week (June 26-28) with some 24,000 private and public sector jobs up for grabs. You can register for the event by clicking here.
The VA is holding its National Veterans Small Business Conference at the same time at the Detroit center.
Hopefully VA management will take some time to explain why it keeps awarding contracts to non-vet owned businesses, only to have the Government Accountability Office overturn awards and enforce veterans preference laws.
