Army Eyes Tactical Cloud Computing

The folks up at the Army communications think tank in Aberdeen, Md., want some industry help in developing cloud computing for tactical users, a real challenge as battlefield bandwidth has severe limitations.

The Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center said it also needs some help in developing decision enhancing technology. It sounds to me like they want a digital clone of a very wise sergeant.
