DISA runs low on bean counters
The agency has lost key finance officials.
The Defense Information Systems Agency says it has a shortage of green eye-shade folks to keep track of cash flow, from, among other things, the fund its military customers use to pay for services.
The DISA chief financial executive wants to contract out for staff augmentation and said the bean counter shortage results from an unexplained “loss of key CFE employees and movement of other CFE employees to fill the now vacant positions.”
I wonder: Is this due to folks not wanting to fight traffic on I-95 to Fort Meade, Md.?
