VA CIO Roger Baker Retirement Ceremony March 1
Outgoing CTO Peter Levin also will be honored at the event, which coincides with Sequestration Day.
I have heard from a thoroughly reliable source that the official retirement ceremony for Veterans Affairs Department Chief Information Officer Roger Baker is set for Friday, March 1 – the day most of the government may go down the fiscal rabbit hole.
I also hear that VA Chief Technology Officer Peter Levin, who announced his retirement plans this week, will be honored at the same ceremony.
If you want to catch up with Baker post-retirement, he is scheduled as the keynote speaker at the Meritalk government data center confab at the Newseum in Washington at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 7.
