The Marine Corps Needs a Few Good Apps
The software should support games and run on Apple and Android devices.
The Marine Corps plans to award a contract for development and maintenance of new mobile and tablet software applications as well as a new website design for Marines Magazine.
The apps will have multiple target audiences skewed to users 25 and younger, including the public as well as active duty and reserve Marines and potential recruits. They should run on Apple and Android mobile operating systems.
The new Marine app should also support “gamification,” a new word to me, but I guess that means it should be capable of running games.
I wonder if the app will support a virtual version of my favorite drill instructor games from boot camp -- holding a gallon bucket of water from each arm raised to shoulder height.
