I Just Don’t Get This Shutdown

I was thinking about the government shutdown last night, and my head started to hurt, as it is a subject that defies rational thought.

As far as I can determine, some billionaire brothers, our only Senator from Canada, The Heritage Foundation and a handful of Congress-folks have shut down the government because they don’t want the less fortunate to have health insurance.

Pardon the shouting, BUT WHAT’S WRONG WITH HEALTH INSURANCE?

I’m sure all the above have health insurance – and we know all members of Congress (and their staff) have their choice of gold-plated, federally subsidized health care plans.

And, if there are flaws with the Affordable Health Care Act, why not fix it instead of cratering the economy?

What will these folks go after next – vegetables, puppies, kittens?
