How Do You Find a Marine Base? Look for a Golf Course

A sad day for the Marines.
Alas, I had to update the old joke on how to locate an Air Force base when I stumbled across this notice showing the Marines want a commercial partner to help manage golf courses on its bases, including Parris Island, home of the East Coast boot camp.
The Marine Semper Fit and Exchange Services Division (really) is looking for a commercial partner to help operate 10 golf courses on nine Marine Corps installations in the continental United States and Hawaii, including pro shops and restaurants.
This is, sadly, no longer my Marine Corps.
