Video: Democratizing Data

Saf Rabah, vice president of product at Socrata, believes a data revolution isn't coming. It's actually already underway and it's a part of the larger Internet revolution. 

He says democratization of computing and connectivity has helped push forward the open data effort.

"Open data is part of that big movement, part of that big revolution," Rabah said. "And what we deal with is democratization of data."
