Video: How Firefox Can Block Ads From Tracking You Online

The Web browser is adding a new layer of privacy protection.

While several Web browsers offer the option of private browsing most of the time, information about users is still being collected. History, searches and cookies are off limits, but elements on a site's page such as advertisements and social buttons can still track information to create a profile of users' surfing habits. 

For those keen on true privacy, Firefox is introducing "tracking protection mode" to block any prying eyes. Beware though, with tracking protection turned on, some websites won't load properly and may appear broken:
