Under Harden’s leadership, CGI opened a Federal Innovation Center in 2018 to give federal clients access to immersive technology platforms so that they can expand their ability to innovate. Promising ideas developed through the center receive funding for the development of proofs of concept, and CGI team members coach agencies to achieve higher-quality outcomes. In addition, Harden led CGI’s presentations to the Defense Department’s Section 809 Panel on how government and industry can streamline and improve the agency’s acquisition system, and he continues to give back to the community as industry vice chairman for professional development at ACT-IAC.
