Relentless ally. The head of PSC since 2019, Berteau has been helping the federal government work through big issues for decades. Last year, he led his association's efforts to help reopen the government after the partial shutdown and actively pursued reimbursement for small-business contractors that were negatively affected by it, resulting in changes to the policy for paying those contractors. He also supported the first entrants in the Defense Department's Public-Private Talent Exchange Program and helped create an independent accreditation body for DOD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program.
