Real relief with AI. As the leader of GSA’s Phase III pilot projects for the Commercial Solutions Opening and Small Business Innovation Research programs, White has opened the door to new commercial IT acquisitions and nontraditional contractors. His efforts helped the Defense Department’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center develop the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief CSO project, a $10 million contract that is equipping the center with machine learning and other AI capabilities to speed damage assessment after natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, tornados and floods.
