Data champion. Although Pancholi's title is relatively new, she has acted in the CDO capacity for years. She has helped HHS leverage data assets to develop quality measures, reports, and free and open-source software platforms, providing hospital- and population-based health analytics on patient safety and primary care. The data and tools she helped create are being used by state agencies, health plans, provider systems and software vendors to improve the health care industry. In 2019, she launched competitions to further the use of AHRQ data products, advanced the priorities of the office of the HHS CTO and reshaped how AHRQ thinks about the value of its data assets.
