IRS chief presses case for boost in IT, cyber funding

*** The White House released key findings from its 100-day review on America's supply chains in a report on Tuesday, which includes plans to strengthen U.S. semiconductor leadership while working with industry and global partners to enhance competitiveness and harness innovation. The report also features recommendations to address vulnerabilities in critical supply chains and to secure an end-to-end domestic supply chain for advanced batteries, while investing in the domestic and international production of critical minerals.
*** The Army is now recruiting up to 50 personnel for its software factory and cloud technician programs. The Austin, Texas-based Army Software Factory, which focuses on improving the service's software development capabilities, plans to select up to 30 soldiers and civilians for its next cohort. The Army’s Artificial Intelligence Integration Center Cloud Technician program, based at Carnegie Mellon University, plans to bring on up to 20 personnel to receive cloud administrator education and advanced certifications. Applications are being accepted through July 7.
