Health data wrangler. Josephs provided critical insight and medical expertise for the VA and Defense Department's effort to adopt a common electronic health record. She established the Joint Sustainment and Adoption Board, which approves all joint EHR content and configuration changes, and developed a common approach to the complex sites where DOD and VA share resources. She has a unique ability to serve as a bridge between the highly technical aspects of IT and the functional aspects of successfully configuring and delivering those technologies. Thanks to Josephs, the program is succeeding in empowering seamless, more efficient and safer health care delivery to more than 18 million beneficiaries.
