Shaping bold and visionary reforms. In 2020, Eanes made great strides on high-level policy reforms that will fundamentally change how the government establishes and maintains trust in its workforce. He played a critical role in creating the intellectual framework for Trusted Workforce 2.0, an effort to overhaul the security clearance process. He also led the development of two governmentwide policies that define the vision for ongoing reforms: a National Security Presidential Memorandum on the topic and the Federal Personnel Vetting Core Doctrine, which provides the vision and principles that will guide reforms. Those efforts will have an impact throughout the executive branch for decades to come.
