Matt Travis, the CEO for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body, said proper training and IT access to the Defense Department's Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service application, which will house CMMC data, still needs to be finalized for the third-party organizations that will be charged with conducting cyber assessments.

Former Google executive David Feinberg to succeed the retiring Brent Shafer on Oct. 1, the health IT firm said Thursday. Those two health record modernization projects account for more than $20 billion in contracts.
*** The National Nuclear Security Administration at the Department of Energy is taking steps toward a request for proposals on a five-year IT services blanket purchase agreement, according to contracting documents updated last week. Contracting intelligence firm Deltek estimates the ceiling value of the BPA at $360 million.
