Solutions and silo-busting. Wagner championed public- and private-sector collaboration on procurement best practices and innovations as the government lead for the Periodic Table of Acquisition Innovations. He contributed topics and example artifacts to the knowledge database, along with the key descriptors that make it useful. He drew on his DHS experience and resources to populate the periodic table and also encouraged colleagues from other agencies to contribute to and use it. From leading weekly calls with project organizers to hosting webinars and educational sessions, he continues to demonstrate the project’s value to thousands of users across government.
