Video: Watch Hurricane Sandy from space
Meteorologists said the monster storm would affect much of the East Coast.
As Frankenstorm crawls towards the Eastern Seaboard (it was moving about 16 miles per hour at noon on Friday), the International Space Station is keeping an eye on things. The storm’s maximum sustained winds were 105 miles per hour, making it a Category 2 hurricane. The National Weather Service warned that the expanding wind field will make this a major storm and urged people to prepare for power outages and high winds.
