Video: 5 Ways to Improve Your Facebook Experience
It's the social network nearly everyone uses. Here's how you make the most of it.
Facebook can be an amazing tool to connect with the people in your life. But sometimes, things aren't so great
Got an annoying babbling coworker or a family member who likes to go on political rants? We all do. While "unfriending" those people would be a social media faux pas, pressing the "unfollow" button clears the newsfeed of any noxious updates without upsetting Aunt Linda.
Additionally, users can curate their entire newsfeed to prioritize updates from the people and pages they actually want to hear from. Adjust this under "Newsfeed Preferences" in Facebook's mobile app.
Many apps and sites use Facebook logins to let users gain access to their services. This tool can be a nice shortcut -- and one less password to remember. But beware: Often by default, users divulge a lot of personal information. Next time when signing up, make sure to edit the information you provide and deselect anything you don't want the app or site to see.
