Keep your eye on the skies, because the Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Department have stepped in to set some regulations.
When users first purchase a drone of their own, they might feel the sky is the limit when it comes to flying their new craft.
But as recreational drones become more popular, the Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Department have stepped in to set some regulations.
To start, drones have to be flown below 400 feet, and users must be able to see their craft at all times. Drones also have to be kept well away from airports and national parks. Maps are available on the Web for drone users who are confused about exactly what spots are off limits.
