Video: Is This the Hoverboard We've Been Waiting For?
This one actually hovers.
When the "hoverboard" trend hit the market last fall, many were understandable annoyed, as every single brand and model of these toys had two wheels that stayed firmly planted on the ground.
But recently, Zapata Racing gave those of us with true hover dreams hope when the company posted a video titled, "Flyboard Air Test 1," which showed off what appears to be a jet-propelled hoverboard.
The company is tight-lipped about the device, but does claim the board can fly up to an altitude of 10,000 feet and can reach speeds over 90 mph.
