Video: Inside Tesla's Massive Gigafactory

It will be the largest building in the world, by footprint.
Elon Musk has big plans for his car company, Tesla. And to achieve his goal of building a massive fleet of affordable electric and solar-powered cars, he's going to need a lot of batteries.
To manufacture all of those lithium ion batteries, Tesla is building a factory in Nevada, which at 5.8 million square feet will be the largest building in the world, by footprint.
While much of the factory is still under construction, completed areas already have robotic assembly lines beginning the manufacturing process, turning battery cells into battery packs.
