Wireless Charging Is Finally Possible. Here's How.
Here's some good news if your smartphone has a mediocre battery.
There are a lot of exciting gadgets and gizmos at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, but one in particular seems exciting for tech users who often feel tethered to the nearest outlet.
Tech company PowerCast has introduced the PowerSpot Transmitter. It's a wireless charger that can charge up to 30 devices from as far as 80 feet away. No wires or mats required.
The PowerSpot transmits RF, which is converted to DC power by a compatible device. According to PowerCast, the PowerSpot is ideally used to charge up devices overnight. Look for it to be available later in 2018.
