Fighting Crime Via Social Networking

An Arkansas police officer has created a MySpace page for a local serial bank robber, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

"The pictures are definitely clear enough and there's enough of his face and facial features exposed that someone who knows him will definitely recognize him and hopefully they'll call police," Sgt. Jarrard Copeland from the Fort Smith, Ark., police department told the Australian newspaper.

The unnamed robbers' post identifies him as about 60 years old, grey haired and balding, 6 feet tall with a medium build and noticeable scaring on his neck and lower jaw. "If you know me, call your local law enforcement agency," advises the post.
