The Patent and Trademark Office patted itself on the back this week for operating a successful telework program for 10 years. The agency's efforts started with just 18 trademark examining attorneys, and have since grown to include patent examiners and other employees. Now 85 percent of the trademark attorneys who are eligible to telework do so. And PTO has more than a dozen telework programs in place, enabling the agency to boost its staff without adding additional office space.
