The Business of Fighting Robots
Tech Insider blogger Robert Charette writes in his other blog The Risk Factor (part of IEEE Spectrum , the magazine for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) about the business opportunity in fighting robots. He links to a blog post on the London Telegraph Web site that discusses a British entrepreneur's new company called War Defence, which claims on its Web site to be "the world's first defence company solely dedicated to weaponry against robotic entities."
As Charette points out, the Defense Department, which has a slight interest in robotics , may want to take note. Could there be special robotic warfare training in soldiers' future? Training could include watching the Terminator movies, or, more appropriate, I think, I, Robot , below.
