GSA Continues Acquisitions Shakeup
The General Services Administration on Tuesday announced another leadership change in its Federal Acquisition Service, the office responsible for coordinating goods and services for government agencies. Jon Jordon, controller for FAS, will serve as acting deputy commissioner starting April 3.
The General Services Administration on Tuesday announced another leadership change in its Federal Acquisition Service, the office responsible for coordinating goods and services for government agencies. Jon Jordon, controller for FAS, will serve as acting deputy commissioner starting April 3.
GSA on March 19 announced that Deputy Commissioner Steve Kempf will replace current FAS head Jim Williams, who plans to retire. Jordan will assume Kempf's position as acting deputy commissioner.
Jordan, who has been with GSA for more than 36 years, also was controller of the agency's General Management and Administration account and worked for the legacy Information Resources Managment Service.
