QSS wins ITES order for TNOSC

The company also won three other jobs under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions contract.

QSS Group Inc. officials announced earlier this month the company won four task orders under the Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions (ITES) contract, including one to build a storage network for the center that operates the service's domestic systems.

QSS, with help from EMC Corp., will design, develop and install a storage-area network and network attached technologies by early next year for the Theater Network Operations Security Center (TNOSC) at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., according to recent QSS statement.

Army officials plan to award another contract to help it operate the security center. The winning vendor will provide employees to operate the service's domestic computer systems, analyze and fix network security problems, and work with other service and military computer security organizations.

QSS's four ITES task orders total $7.2 million. The other three include:

Update the IT infrastructure at Fort Monmouth, N.J., including work there on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network.

Provide network support services to the Program Executive Office for Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors.

Offer technical services for a Microsoft Corp. Windows-based server farm in support of the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee managed by the National Capital Region's Directorate of Information Management.
